Photographing Photographers

Does anyone else quite enjoy taking photos of other people wrapped up in the moment of taking photos? I know it’s not particularly ‘artistic’ in subject, and it ain’t gonna be winning any prizes in realisation, but there’s always been something that oddly appeals to me about it.

The intense concentration on the part of the taker, coupled with the interaction with the subject (if there is one visible) is just something I enjoy. Sometimes people just have this really rapt expression on their face (like the third pic above) when taking a photo of something that’s caught their eye and there’s a kind of purity of joy to that.

Do I sound like a nutter? I sound like a nutter, right?

The second one is particular good!

I don’t do thus too often but funnily enough I did take one the other day

Hah, love it! There’s that epic concentration!

That’s about a min away from my office too - I did a portrait of a colleague in there recently!

Gotta love gelato!
